Hi There,
I was putting a vinyl wrap on the side where the keyboard and mouse were to hide up a scratch and after I was done the keyboard and mouse stopped working. I had used a hairdryer to stick the vinyl on and a blade to cut through the small gap in the trackpad.

It seems you may have caused damage to your Keyboard and trackpad connector when you used the blade to go around the edges. the cables for those two things are very delicate and thin. I would recommend replacing them. Wish you luck :)
