Why is my battery slowly draining?

The battery and alternator have been checked out and are good. I can drive the truck all day and it stays charged, but I must disconnect the battery cable when I park it overnight or it will be dead in the morning. I have checked wiring on all the harnesses and they look good. Where do I look next? Is this a common problem with Fords?

Penny, If battery is indeed good, you are experiencing what is known as a parasitic drain of battery. Parasitic drain means something is using power when it should not be, could be a aftermarket alarm/stereo, stuck relay, shorted wire/switch, faulty alternator, etc. I will post a link to show how you can check your vehicle for parasitic draw by pulling fuses and checking amp draw/power with a DVOM. Good luck.

I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button.
