Which is memory Slot 0?
I have installed 2 1 GB modules using your guidelines. Now the module in Slot 0 is not working and I would like to identify it to replace it. Is Slot 0 the "top" one or the "bottom" one closest to the mother board?

Generally slot 0 is the one closest to the logic board when they are stacked like the Mini. I can find no specifics on this but your owners manual should tell you what you need to know.

Thanks for the help! The owners manual did not specify this information...
I agree with that--just been researching Mini owners manuals and find they don't tell you much.
+ The upper slot is bank 0 and the lower is bank 1
