mower won't start, it is in gear and won't come out?
Riding Craftsman 19HP model #917.20361. Appears to be in gear and won't come out. When I turn the key to start there is no response.

Try rocking the lawn mower will attempting to shift the gear selector or you can raise the rear end to suspend the tires in the air and move the wheels while trying to shift into neutral. the gears are probably locked and just need to be wiggled to get them to release . this will often happen if you stop on an incline . Hope this helps
