What is the slot at the front left of the laptop
Someone has removed something and it won't go on Internet even though it says it's connected the slot at the left is empty should a card or something be there

I have attached the specifications and service manual as well as 2 photos 1 to show you where the wifi card is and 1 to show you what the slot I think you are talking about is. Also, are you using wifi or hardwire ethernet. What do you mean by "it says it's connected" what says that, and what does it say it is connected to?

That is the exact slot in red
The slot on the outside to the left
That is a memory card reader (like an SD card from a camera) and shouldn't be able to affect your network connectivity in any way. If you give more details like wifi or hardwire ethernet, what you mean by "it says it's connected" as in, what says that, and what it says it is connected to then maybe we can do more trouble shooting

Can you take some pictures of the slot? What OS is this running, and are you using internet with WIFI or ethernet, or something else?
