Cracked logic board, possible repair?

I was going to supply a sort of fix but I'm only an 'expert' on the 5.. ;d

I'm not entirely sure, however, I assume the 6 and above use multi-layer circuitry in their mothererboards which.. well, is less than a 4th of the width of your hair. ;p

Looking at that part though, that shouldn't affect the camera or the things you've mentioned, though judging from your event, I'd say there's more underlying breaks and afflictions to the device than you've found.

If it was old school tech then you could fix it. But as the rest above state there are layers in the new circuit cards and the traces running through the layers in your broken boards have extensive damage. The first image has small IC chips to the right of the break and the leads to that chip were probably running through where your crack is. Just looking at that one alone I would have to say that that board is non-repairable.

The second one shows damage to the plastic connector which might still function but it has a lot of damage.

I hope you paid for the Apple Care or Can Get Apple Care and then get a Replacement.

The only chance to save the Board is to literaly transfer Every chip and Capaciter onto a new, empty board. You can get these from iFixit at ~$10
