Why isn't my screen working?

I got my phones screen fixed back before Christmas from this company. They did a great job and I'm pleased with their work! But, yesterday I went to get into my phone and it wouldn't let me type in my pass word. My phone works, I kept getting notifications and text messages, I even got my brother to call me to make sure my phone was working right. When my brother called me and my phone was ringing, I tried to swipe across my screen to answer the call and it was like my screen wasn't picking up that I was sliding my finger across it. And, when I was trying to type in my password it was acting like I wasn't touching it at all. I can't figure out what's wrong with it. I need help!

Have you tried removing the battery from the phone and putting it back in? If not try that first.

If the touch function has been working fine and no other issues such as dropping the phone on a hard surface, water damage or any other type of damage, then it can likely be fixed by restarting your phone, or removing the battery, or a factory reset.

If none of those options work then there may be a hardware issue with the digitizer in the display which is responsible for sensing touch.
