My iphone 5 blacked out: screen doesn't show anything, siri is the only thing works, pressing the silver lock screen button does nothing, and I can't turn off the phone..

@haridas you seem to have "no display" meaning your screen assembly needs replacing.
Trying on a new screen will help you determine if this is indeed the cause.
However, if this "no display" issue occurred following a drop, screen replacement, liquid damage, or some repair attempt, the fault may be at board level.
Either tell us what the history of the device is, to help you figure it out. Or as a start try on a new *known good* screen assembly.

Just act like you would if it was showing and restart phone (. Worked for me )
