Why won’t the speaker turn on?
When I try to play music on the speaker, the speaker won’t turn on. It seems to be unresponsive to the power button being pressed. How can this be fixed?

When the speaker does not turn on, it could be because of a few reasons. The first reason is that the battery is not charged. Charge the battery for a few hours and then try to turn it back on. The second reason is that the Oontz Angle 3 may have been water damaged. The Oontz Angle 3 is not waterproof, so place it a designated area and give it time to dry out. So if neither of these solutions work please refer to the troubleshooting page to identify the real cause of the issue.

If it’s frozen and it won’t turn on or off, let the battery die all the way (this could take a day or two). Let it charge for about 30 seconds. Turn it on and connect your Bluetooth.

it happened the same to me, in my case the problem was the power switch, i had to gently press it downwards while i was moving it to "ON", that worked for, such a pitty that i had to figure it out because i paid for it... but at least it works.
The thing is that if i press it a little bit upwards it will turn OFF, so it is a "contact" problem, you need to press it downwards while you turn it on so it stays well placed in order to make the right contact and turn this on.

Thank you so much but I just opened this %#*@ thing. I expect a device that I pay $60 for to work properly. This is sad. I've reviewed hundreds of mods, tanks, and kits. I was so disappointed in this product. Wismec is not good with customer support whatsoever! I am considering still doing the review but I have a feeling they will never send me any more products to review if I do that! In the end I have to be honest to the people watching the review. Two companies now won't be sending me products. Voopoo and wismec! If I have to continue buying these products which is more than fair, however so is my honest opinion of their products so I guess it is what it is! Sorry for the rant, thanks again for communicating the explanation and the solution!

Hey, I fixed my problem!!!!!!
So, I have had the Wismec Active as our sound system for the vape shop I work at, as it helps to sell the mods. Mine JUST stopped working. I peeled off the silicone protector and down by where you would plug it in to charge…..there is a hole and just under it the letters RST. Take a sim card pin (I used mine from the Ifixit kit I bought from ACE) or other small pointy object and press the reset button for five seconds. Voila! It turned on and started connecting.
Peeling off the silicone will not harm the mod, it will go right back on. Just make sure everything is centered on the buttons and stuff.

Hi I have problems with the speaker because I took it to the park and it rain the speak got wet it’s been over a week trying to fix it the power not turning on what is the solution? Can someone help me please?

I have he same problem used it once tried to turn it off so I could leave the house and it would not turn off....Came home tried to use it again will not turn on been charging all night and it acts like it will not charge the charging light stays red tried to turn it on while plugged in to charge and still nothing it has never been near water so any kind of help would be great

Hello, my speaker Oontz angle 3 I bought it again, the first day it worked very well and I only used it for a while, on the second day I did not want to turn it on and it did not charge because neither a light went on, so the next day I thought about repairing it but trying to turn it on it worked again and then I turned it off after a few hours I returned to turn it on and once again I did not want to light it and it did not load either, it did not turn on a light. I do not know what can happen to you and I need help.
