Changing Hard Drive problem with power
I just changed a hard drive bought from ifixit in a 20" imac and after following the instructions the imac will not start up. It doesn't seem to being any power.

This has nothing to do with the hard drive. You've unplugged something else. Reset the SMC, here's how: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3964
Even with no hard drive the machine will try to boot up. You will need to start up from a system installation disk and format the drive the install a system when you get your power back.
