A 1278 core 2duo
I have changed my magsafe board which was giving charging problem.
After few days same problem reoccured
I saw the part number on ur site as
880-2361-02
whereas magsafe board on my laptop says
880-2361-A.
I dont know if both are same or this difference in part number has caused the reoccurence of the problem.
Is there any waranty on this board offeref by APPLE as the repair was done ona apple authorised repair centre

The actual Apple part number is 661-5235. This MagSafe part is interchangeable in all Unibody 13". Slight variations in part numbers is very common as Apple uses several manufacturers.

but one used on mine is of 17" 2.8GHz MACBOOK PRO
not of 13" MACBOOK.Can you tell me wat damage it could hav done? After changing magsafe board my macbook worked for few days but sometimes screen use to turn dark.Now again battery is not getting charged
Frankly I can't find either one of those part number listed anywhere on the web with the exception of this question. Where did you get them?
661-4950 is the number I get for the magsafe board for the unibody 15/17. +
