Blue Screen of Death?

I picked up a phone today for parts, phone looks really clean... no sign of ever being repaired and the custom said she had it from new and had nothing replaced.

She said the phone went blue rebooted and never came back.

I haven't seen this before so was wondering if anybody have any idea what could be the problem or if it's board level.
