What if console gets wet?
The 2ds got wet. It continued to work the next day but then stopped working. Is there anything I can do to get it working again?

how did it get wet? or better said how much water did it take?
I think the best thing to do is open up the device ( here is a link of the 3 ds but is almost the same 任天堂 3DS 拆解 )
and clean the mainboard and components with isopropyl alcohol. afterwards let it dry.
it is possible that the battery is dead. due to the water.
but first try to clean the components and let us know

In addition to previous reply, after cleaning with alcohol I will suggest a 5 min tratment on medium heat with a heat gun.
That usually removes any humidity and of course if having any oxidation, concentrate on those spots.
