Upgrade CPU and HD

Hi,

I cannot update to the operating system yosemite because apple limited the possibility to update for iMACs from Mid 2007 . I have an iMac from early 2007 running with the operating system snow leopard 10.6.8. What CPU do you recommend with which specification?
