The screen doesn't light up when I turn the ds on. On the rare occasion it does, I can play games for a long time. Recently it hasn't been turning on at all since I inserted a GBA cartridge.
Is there anything I can do to fix it myself?
I have been fixing ds lites recently, and one of the ds systems i got had a similar problem. Sometimes the screens lit up, sometimes they did not. When i swapped out the main board, the same thing happened. My guess is that fixing the top screen may solve your problem, but i cant be 100% sure. But I dont think the mainboard is the issue. Sorry if i wasnt much of a help, i just figured id try.
