Why is my iPhone 5c keeps turning on and off

my iphone 5c keeps on turning on an off after a period of 2mins and 50 secs while on charging and i keep on getting this weird crash report panic.ips in diagnostics with crc err! at the bottom i charged my iphone with all this turning on and off thing going on to 100 percent and now ejecting the cable im able to use it further more than jus 2 minutes. what is causing the iphone to be in a restart loop after 2 minutes while its on charging i tried resetting the phone it went well without that restart thing but after that same thing again and again....i had it opened up prior to thison and off thing happening to me because of a power button repair.it all started like few days back i was charging my iphone and the battery indicator got stuck at 43 and wasnt showin more than that while it was being charged then after manual rebooting its 100 percent and then this on and off thing started to happen like every 2-3 minutes.

Sounds to me like your power button flex cable needs to be changed out I think you got a stock power button or shorted out one

But the battery status bar sign doesnt match with its real status why is that so.I charged it to 100 percent while it was being erratic goin on and off after a period of 2 minutes after that i disconnected the cable and let it discharge for a while batt was showin me 100 with continuous use with no on and off sign for almost 30 minutes of use and when i tried to manually restart the phone for some reason the battery was showin 80 percent and with the same on and off cycle of 2-3 minutes.

you tried cleaning the charging port? swapping charge cables?

but the problem persists when its not connected to any power source.so does it also requires cleaning of the charging port?cable is ok but i also tried charging it with another one but its all the same all over again.

did you change the power cable when you had the problem? if this has all started after that then I would go back to that cable and check it is installed correctly. If problem persists then you need to try another cable...
