Power switch cable damaged
In the process of removing the logic board the power switch cable was unintentionally ripped from the back of the power switch. Is there any way to remove the switch so I can attempt to resolder the wire to the switch?

That switch is usually held in place by 3 plastic globs that are integrated into the back frame. I have used a chisel to break them off and then re-glued it back into place after replacing. It not a pretty repair, just a hack.

Well Manuel, just how do you proposed to repair it? Have you even looked at one?
