Dead RAM problem. How to save data from SSD drive

RAM in my MacBook air 2.13 13" A1304 (Mid-2009) is dead.

I can not turn on laptop. In service they say that i have to buy a new logic board.

I already bought a new MacBook Pro 13" but i need to save my data from old systems SSD drive.

They said that they need to find same laptop with bad drive and put my drive in to it to transfer my data. I dont know what kind of connector my SSD drive has. Is there another solution?

SATA Adapter For Lif/Zif Hard Drive or SSD MacBook Air Late 2008 / Mid 2009 A1304

Can I buy adapter to connect my SSD drive with SATA cable to my iMac?

Please Help

The '09 model uses a micro SATA connector. To transfer your data over to your new system you'll want this: Micro SATA 1.8 Inch to USB 2.0 Adapter Cable.

I've seen these machines come in with issues that make it look like its ram related but it's actually gpu. Try to quickly reflow it (remove heatsink) and apply heat to the gpu. Watch it turn on and easy transfer...

Please tell us more about the reflow process you would suggest and/or incorporate into your practice. The person asking this question most likely has never soldered anything much less reflowed something.

Well for reflow you really don't need much just a source of heat. A hair dryer can probably do it but you'll be at it for a while. Usually hot air or a heat gun work best. Just aim it at the gpu and let the solder melt slowly and it'll recreate a connection which has been lost due to heat and cooling cycles. It's best to use flux and a constant heat which can be controlled (OP probably doesn't have this) and coughin up money to buy the equipment for one repair is certainly not worth it. Don't forget to clean and replace thermal paste after cooling.

Hair dryer? Reflow? Really? What's the melting point of solder (leaded or lead free) and how hot does your hair dryer get? No need to cover up any of the adjacent components? Just blast hot air on the GPU? Take a look on here

A bit of gel works on the cowlicks too ;-}

Oldturkey you're right the hair dryer may not be good enough for a proper fix. Realistically a reflow is not a proper fix. Proper fix is to actually reball and replace. But as I mentioned before the best way to fix it is not worth it for ONE repair. Hairdryer method is worth a shot though, after-all, the OP just wants his/her info and the hair dryer method might just work at least long enough for him/her to be able to pull the info they need.
