Speaker won't work when using the front camera
Whenever I try to record using my front camera, there is no audio. But it works just fine when I use the back camera. Is there two different speakers/mics?

There's 3 microphones in total, when you switch modes it uses a different microphone.
You need to replace the microphone which is attached to the camera. You can find a guide on how to do this here:

The ear speaker serves as a mic for the front facing cam? Or there is a separate mic on that flat cable that I'm not aware of?
EDITE: I took a look at it and saw the mic. I've doing this for a year and never before paid attention to this simple but important details. Thanks!

You need to replace the front facing camera as the mic attached to it has went faulty..
The back camera uses a different mic it's located on the power flex

I have the same problem as well but when I use the front camera on a app like snapchat it works just fine I don't get it then.. Pls help

SAME HERE it is so weird
I have the same problem. On the front camera the sound doesn't work but on the back it does .But the front camera sound works on other apps like snapchat .someone help

Me too. What should I do? Before, It was working normally. I did a vid using front camera and it works. I dont know what happened because the audio is not working anymore. But it is working using different apps. Really weird.
