yellow tape part also tore apart when the top came off

Hi, i popped off the front part of my gopro, but this yellow tape part also tore apart when the top came off. this is probably a dumb question, but my gopro is toast at this point, right?

Kristin, post an image of the "yellow tape" with your question. Could be Kapton tape, or a flex cable. Let us see what you see. Use this guide to post images with your question.
