What should I do when recieving an "Invalid Sim Card" message?

Also make sure your device is up to date on all the software updates and updates for your device. I have an HTC that kept freezing then wouldn't even get past the opening screen because I neglected to update it. It was a pain in the butt to fix because the guy had to change the whole motherboard inside the phone. Eventually I got it back in working condition but I now make sure that my device is completely updated for the device itself and all software.

try different different sim cards , if none of the sim cards are not responding ...no way , you have to replace the sim card tray in your phone .contact the phone service technician ..

Have you tried re-seating your sim card? I have seen these get loose and just not make a good connection with the phone. Take the sim card out, make sure there is no dirt or debree like lint or anything on the card contacts or in the slot in your phone. Re-insert card and make sure it is in there secure. If it is just a loose sim card and it continues to happen try applying a piece of tape or something thin to build it up just enough so the back case puts enough pressure to hold the card in place. Try the old 90s way of fixing things, such as when you had an error with your N64: blow on the end(s) of your device where your charger connects. My phone seems to be working okay now after doing this.

Clearly you need a new sim card and make sure it's registered

if you insert 64k,32k or 24k sim it will works

when i brought my smart watch, after inserting sim it shows that an invalid sim

but when i inserted 64k sim it showed that a more storage sim.

after a suggestion of my elder,i inserted 24k sim then it started working.

I had this error message for three years on Walmart My Family mobile. When I bought a new phone, I decided to change SIM card, too. Still got the message. Here was MY solution, per LG Support...My plan has no wireless calling, but my phone's default in settings was wireless calling "on." Turn off wireless calling in settings, and message went away!!

try the compatible sim cards of that particular region just for once.......it will help you

I got a new LG Rebel in August 2016 to replace my Samsung Centura. (well I think that's what it was). It was a 3g phone. I travel back and fourth to Canada and NEVER had an issue with the old phone for over a year. The new one starts to read Invalid Sim Card as soon as I cross the border and nothing will fix it, right to tried a full factory reset. Got a new sim card from Tracfone, it worked for 3 weeks, went to Canada again and before even getting across the border I guess i picked up a Canada Cell tower and the 4g LTE LG Rebel started showing Invalid Sim Card message again. Stayed in spite of all that was done by me, tracfone tech etc, until I put in a new sim card. It has worked for well over a month since then and now I'm back in Canada. I shut the phone off before crossing the border and removed the battery so hopefully when i go back to the states it starts up and works no problem. But seems if i cross to Canada or hit a Canadian cell tower it starts to flash the message and nothing but a new activated sim card makes it work again.

Call customers service

I called my service provider and they sent me a new card. I had it activated and it works!!
