How can I replace my phone's audio jack port

My phone audio jack port got broken on my HTC sensation.

I have no idea about how to fix it but its a pity to change phone for a broken port, isn't it?

Any ideas?

Chaipa, use this guide up to step 11 to remove the logic board. the charging port is soldered to the logic board. You will need a small soldering air or a hot air soldering station to remove it, then replace it with a new one. Dylon linked you to a vendor and there are plenty out there. If you do not have the tools or feel that you could not do the soldering job, I would try to find somebody to do just that part of the repair. Should not be to expensive if you take the logic board and the connector by itself. Hope this helps, good luck

correction

Since it is the audio jack that is not working, I suggest you replace the audio jack power button flex, or if you are real adventurous, you could see if you can find the audio jack and solder a new one to the flex:-) The flex cost around$30 for replacement. Hope this helps, good luck.

where is this "power button flex" exactly? because for me it barely looks like a hole. Thank you

You've got one of two options.

You can either DIY, or take it to a local repair shop.

The price itself isn't very expensive, but it's a bit difficult to replace if you've never done it before.

But here's the replacement part:

I wish you luck.
