Power charger won't charge for iPod touch 5?
The end of my charger is wrinkled and won't charge my iPod. It is the new one (the cord one)

Jacob Doerr, if you are referring to the "Lightning" data cable, if it is wrinkled close to the connector, it is most likely a broken wire. I just finished a repair on one of those. It's a bit of a pain, but if your know how to solder, and have the tools to do it, it is doable. Cut the insulation around the wrinkled area carefully with a sharp blade. You will identify a total of four wires, plus the ground, Check the wire for any break, in my case it was the red one. Strip the insulation of the broken wire and solder the ends together. Use either electric tape, or a dab of hot glue from a glue gun to provide an insulation for the repair. Then try it out and see if it works. If it does, finish the repair off by either using electric tape, or heat shrink tubing, to provide a replacement of the insulation on the outside of the repair. Otherwise, you will have to get a new cable from places like this. Hope this helps, good luck.

I got I POD 5th generation 7th month ago. MY I POD charger got banned or something now the changer won't work.Every time try to charged my I POD it won't work. PLZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz HELP ME!

I have had problems with my iPod touch 5 g too I have had it ever seens it came out and it always work fine intill the new update came out 1st it was wifi wouldn't work then I updated it to iOS 6.3 or what ever it was then iOS 7 came out and I didn't updAte it right away and then my ipod wouldn't charge at all and I tryed like 6 other chargers and it wouldn't change then I updated just to see it that would do anything and it did it charges fine now and I'm no the only 1 that these thing have been happening to samething happen to my brother and sister they both got a ipod when I did and 3 of my friends that got the ipod around the same time i did the samething happened to all of them I think Apple is making us update or the 6 of us got messed up iPods just try updating it if your not on iOS 7

It would only charge when connected to itunes
