Can a conventional oven that causes power trip be repaired?

I have left a couple of conventional oven untouched for at least a year. When I try to use them again, they trip my home's circuit breaker after about a minute of use.

I've read that it's caused by moisture trapped in the heating coil. The repair methods I've found online involves replacing the heating coil.

Is there any alternative method besides replacing the coil or heating element? I am thinking, by theory, I can displace the moisture by heating up the coil with another heat source like a heat gun.

caused by moisture trapped in the heating coil" sounds a bit odd. The coils usually consist of closed wireloops. What oven are we talking about? you got an ohm meter or multimeter to measure some resistance if need should be?
