For the last few months, the ***paper feed often fails***, for both print-from-computer and copy-at-the printer.
This HP 2655 is 4-years-old, has excellent print quality with no paper jams.

The ***orange*** ***out-of-paper light blinks***, even though there may be one or several pages in the feeder.
This failure happens sometimes with the first page, and sometimes only after several have already fed and printed. ***It fails to feed more often than not***.
Three things may help:
1. Sometimes, pushing the blinking light button once or several times starts thepaper feeding.

2. Sometimes, taking the paper our, fanning the bottom edges, and replacing it works.
