Watch out for step 15!

Instructions were fine except for Step 15: Please put one of those big red exclamation point warnings there not to pry on the front of the connector (under cable only!). Even for someone familiar with electronics, this isn't obvious (one even does this on some other connectors in this repair). This is a much less obvious danger point than prying upward on connectors that one should only pull outward on.

The loss of the internal microphone is not a huge deal since the plug works fine, and there is still Bluetooth; but it's annoying and could have been avoided. However, the main thing is that I can now charge the computer :) :)
