Any news about your problem and if the 240W power supply was the problem?
I have a bad 250W power supply in my mid 2007 iMac (2134) and I'm not sure if I should replace it with a 240W. -> iMac Intel 24" EMC 2211 2.4, 2.8 & 3.06 GHz Power Supply
