Replace USB-C Board

While you would think getting to Step 20 is as far as you needed to go, you really need to take the logic board fully out as the space to get to the port assembly's two screws and have enough room to slide the assembly out.

The compression connectors (covered with the plates) need to be carefully lifted by lightly prying up (don't dig in too deep or hard).

The ZIF connectors like the Speaker connectors only need a feather touch to flip the latch up to release the tension compressing the ribbon cable. Once you release the ribbon cable, the cable it's self almost slides out on its own!

Be careful with the cover plate screws as the threaded studs are only glued to the logic board, make sure you are square with the driver to the screws shaft causing the pressure not to be shifted off center as you loosen the screw and don't over tighten when you put the screw back.

Be gentle when placing the logic board back, make sure the cables are all passing through as they need to and don't tear them trying to feed them through. This is the step many get stuck on.
