S22+ power button not working.

My S22+ won’t power on. It does show the charging symbol when I plug it in. If I hold both volume buttons while connecting the charger, it enters the download menu. However, when I press the side (power) button from this menu, it should show the barcodes, but nothing happens. I’ve already tried replacing the entire flex connector, but the same issue persists. Can anyone help me with what I should try next?
