i believe the installation of Google Play services is linked to the the device hardware ID. A clean flash won't fix this unless it's your own ROM backup.

There are steps to fix the install here

Method 1:

  • "-Open Settings
  • -Navigate to Location & Security
  • -Deselect ALL Device Admins
  • Then, force stop Google Play Services
  • -Go to Settings>Apps&Notifications>App Info
  • -Scroll down and select "Google Play Services"
  • -Touch "Force Quit"
  • After that, uninstall Google Play Services by touching "Disable"
  • After that, to re-install simply open the app store and it will prompt you to re-install Google Play Services, then reset your device."

*

Other helpful troubleshooting steps:

  • update EVERYTHING
  • Clear Google Play Services data and cache
  • attempt to side-load Google Play Store APK and/or Google Play services APK

* Use the bootloader's factory reset tool in settings.

*

  • Method 2:
  • Temporarily disable other Google apps like Chrome
  • " I encountered this issue where several of my apps suddenly would not work at all, or would start to work and then crash, complete with the ubiquitous "Google Play services has stopped" popup. I tried all the suggestions in the above posts, to no avail.
  • And then it penetrated my foggy brain that while trying to troubleshoot a seemingly unrelated issue earlier in the day, one of the suggestions for that issue was to use the Chrome browser. Which I had long ago disabled because I never used it. So today I enabled Chrome to try to resolve the other issue, and then other apps started crashing and the pop-up started appearing.
  • I just re-disabled Chrome--and voila, no more "Google Play Services has stopped," and the apps are working again.
  • So for those who have not yet found a solution, try disabling Chrome and see if that helps. Go into Settings, Apps, Chrome, disable, cross your fingers, and see what happens. " source

This does not fix my device. I tried the method 1 several times now. I completely removed Play services via ADB and installed a version that works perfectly for my redmi 7( i selected a version according to chatgpt). Yet the problem persist. I even submitted my gms id to the Google device verification page. For me though i tried everything that i could. Method 2 doesn't work for my device.

@bhavesh96171 Perhaps there's a hardware fault with a security chip or NOR flash ic

I don't think so. Because whenever i format it or clean flash it, it works perfectly fine for like 4-5 days. But after that it starts to crash again. I can go to custom rom but again, i can't just stay like that because it has the problems with play integrity and i can't that anymore. So that's why I shifted back to my og rom. I've been using this stock rom for like 20 days and i had to troubleshoot my phone multipe of times now! Now you're gonna think that just but a new phone but my parents aren't buying me a new phone cuz I'm in 12th and it is the important year and blah blah blah.
