Guys, I have the same problem. The jack is ruined because of learning by doing... I accept the mistake, but isn´t there a way to just change the controller instead of extracting my new glued in battery again to replace the trackpad that is probably working? thx for helping me out in advance

On the guide (Step 18) MacBook Pro（13 英寸，配备 Retina 显示屏2015 年初期）电池更换 the cable is somewhat fragile and if bent to much when peeling it off from the battery it may cause an issue with the traces inside, it may be worth checking this step again to ensure it is firmly connected and possibly by replacing this cable, I have had one go down on me when installing a new battery. Hope this can resolve the issue. Be sure to get the 2015 version of the cable as I believe previous editions were different.

Thanks alot!The Cable is fine but the ZIF Dock is broken. I think I produced a short cut when I placed the battery cable on the motherboard and THEN I connected the cable... I think the procedure is to take off the battery again and change the trackpad incl. the controller board.

@sebastians41717 - Please make sure you have the same model as the different models often have different issues. Post a picture or two that we can see any damage.
Also, how about telling us a bit more, does the trackpad have any reaction? Did you have problems in following the guide?
