Won't display on screen, even on external Monitor

Count the pattern of the Caps lock light's long and short, red and white flashes.

This is an error code telling you what the problem is.

Here's a article showing what the light flashes mean.

Click on Identify the notebook, light or beep code and select the pattern applicable to what's shown by your laptop.

Here's the maintenance and service guide that may also help. If there's a faulty part that needs replacing, there's a parts list in the guide which has the part numbers for the parts. Search online for the part number only to find suppliers that suit you best

Well try the following:

• Remove battery (if removable).
• Disconnect power adapter.
• Hold down the power button for 15–20 seconds.
• Plug the adapter back in (leave battery out for now).
• Try powering on.
