1 Can't get adhesive open on Samsung Galaxy S22?
I'm following Samsung Galaxy S22 USB-C Port and Charging Board Replacement, trying to replace my charging port. However, I can't get the opening pick inserted into the adhesive. Nothing I've tried gets even the slightest gap for fitting anything inside.
Has anyone had any luck doing a repair requiring opening up a Samsung Galaxy S22? And if so, how did you get it open?

Did you try heating the back cover as shown in the guide as you didn't mention it?

Yes, I've followed the directions up to that point.

You may have to heat it and lift it a bit more and use another pry tool e.g. the opening tool as it is thinner. Just enough to then use the pick

@jayeff Any suggestions for which pry tool to use? I've tried everything in my iOpener kit and haven't had success with anything.

Has the phone been opened before?
Just wondering if another type of adhesive had been used.
About the only thing I can suggest is to apply heat and use the suction handle and then try inserting a safety blade (example only) as you may have to cut your way in.
Not too far in or along only enough to allow the other openers to open it further.
Use this to make a start. Also do this on the bottom edge as shown so that any cosmetic damage is not that noticeable.
