I found, with a new Nokia G11 Plus, and with a second new unit, it wouldn't work with Aldimobile SIM, although it would work with some other providers' SIMs (and the Aldimobile SIM worked in other phones).
With the Aldimobile SIM in the Nokia G11 Plus, one could send and receive SMS, but not make or receive calls.

Has the phone worked OK before with the same SIM card inserted?
Does the phone show that it is being connected OK to a service provider's network e.g. no service notification or signal bars indicating network signal strength.?
