Hi all,
The Display Flex cable that connects to the LCD screen is damaged so looking for a replacement. I'm finding replacements on eBay: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/186067105164?... which is for iMac. Will this be compatible? If not, suggestions would be really appreciated.

Can you help us to help you here. We really need to know which of the many Displays Apple produced. Then we have the part you have pointed to which is for an iMac system Vs a standalone display.
So… are we working on an iMac or a standalone display? Then which model? Look at the bottom side of the foot you should see a four digit number which has the letter A at the start. Give us that so we can narrow down what is the correct part.
Also can you give us some background on what happened and why you think this the problem.
I did a bit more sleuthing looking for the display cable you had pointed to, here’s one possibility iMac 27" Retina 5K Embedded Display Port Cable (14-19) but it might not work! As this is the iMac part vs the Studio Display. While we know the display is based on the iMac we don’t know if the parts are transferable.
You’ll need to do a side by side comparison to be sure. This still may not address the damage with your display as more often the logic board connector gets damaged if the display assembly slips down tugging on cable and the logic board connector.

Hi, thanks for the quick reply. I’ve attached a few photos to make it easier. Its the display cable on the right that connects the screen to the main monitor. Its an Apple Studio Display A2525. As I was replacing the screen the connector became bent on the edges (see picture) so I believe its bad connectivity.

Once I see the damaged part I think we can aim you to the needed part. While Apple has turned the page a bit posting repair manuals so far the older gear is MIA!
