Touch and orientation reversed

After installing a replacement screen. The orientation is reverse. Horizontal is vertical, and vertical is Horizontal. Also touch is reverse. Almost impossible to navigate. I'm suspecting the encoder is faulty in the screen. Connections are good. Re did the process. I'm tempted to open my other mini to verify faulty screen from ifixit. If there's no applicable response.

Question is. What would be the root cause?
