I have not been able to send or receive text messages for 2 months now. Can't find anyone who can fix it or tell me why, not even Verizon! Any suggestions?
@jayeff -Yes, I have had no problem sending/receiving up til 2 months ago. As far as phone calls they are working fine. The only error messages I'm getting is "message cannot be sent" or "message failed" and it gives me an option to retry or cancel.
Just verifying that it worked before with Verizon and that the problem is with both SMS and MMS texts.
Try clearing the Messages app cache (and Data if clearing cache doesn't work) and check if that works. (scroll down to find the Messages app in Settings > Apps

Was it working OK on Verizon previously or another carrier perhaps?
Do you mean SMS messages (text only) or MMS messages (texts with images etc)?
Can you make and receive phone calls OK?
What error message/notification (if any) do you get when sending a text message?
