How can I take the fork off and replace it

I have a NIU kqi3 max and a while ago I was riding around and hit a curb and my front fork bent so I bought a new one I tried to replace it but i noticed that it has a spring in the middle that’s not allowing me to pull the fork out how can i do this please help
