My laptop appears to not turn on, but the power indicator and fan turns on. Only the display won't turn on.

Hey there OP. I edited your question just a bit to make it a little easier to read. If you shined a light at your laptop's screen while it's on can you see anything? Some times the backlight will go out and can cause the issue.
