Wrinkled battery after using alcohol to remove adhesives

I followed the instructions to remove the battery and two adhesive strips broke off. So i followed the instructions for the stuck battery and used a drop of 91% isopropyl alcohol to help remove the adhesives. After the battery came loose, it was wrinkled on the underside where the adhesive was. Is the battery damaged now or is this normal?
