Hola, I want to put better speakers in my own laptop because they sound rather meh and knowing how Macbooks sound, getting their replacement parts sounds like the best choice. Does anyone know how thick they are so that I know if I can fit them inside?

The internal speakers are specially designed to work with this model—they have a unique shape, unique cables, and unique connectors on the main logic board. I don't know of any third party internal speakers that would be compatible with this device. If your speakers sound blown or damaged, you could replace them with good condition speakers, but if you want longer-lasting better quality speakers, I would recommend using an external Bluetooth speaker. I am a tinkerer. Let me rephrase: I have a non macbook laptop with Windows whose internal speakers I want to upgrade, and since speakers are all the same thing (a voice coil with a magnet) I will find a way to drive them even with their specific connections. The only info I need is the dimensions of them, specifically the thickness they have, so that I can know if I can order them and make this project a thing. Thanks!

Just a heads up, in the future it might be a good idea to choose a more generic device when posting your question rather than the MacBook Pro 16" 2019, because I thought this was a question about replacing the speakers on that model. The different models of MacBooks have differently designed speakers with different heights and widths, so there is no one answer for your question. If you're curious about the dimensions of the speakers for a specific model, I may be able to figure that out for you if you specify the model.
Alright, I'll remember that. The choices I have that look like they'd fit are A2992, A2918, A2141 and maybe the A2251. If you have one of those by any chance to extract dimensions from, I'd be more than happy.
