My phone got dropped and wouldn't turn on. But it is still having alarms ring and it is still doing a little buzz when i put it on the charger or hold the power button. But despite that the screen is still black and not showing anything.

The chances are pretty high that you need a new screen. although it's theoretically possible the screen connector got dislodged from the impact, in practice the connectors are secured by screwed-in midframe components that don't allow that to happen. So while it would be entirely reasonable to go ahead and check the screen connector, in practice I doubt very much it will help. It's not at all unusual for the screen to fail after a drop; there are a large number of fairly delicate connections between the glass of the display and the flex cable connecting it to the motherboard and those connections can get broken from impact.
At this point our best advice would be to go ahead and replace the screen then reevaluate. The good news is replacement screens for your phone aren't very expensive and readily available, so that should be your first step. Unfortunately iFixit doesn't have a guide for replacing your screen, but there's a French site called SOSav that has exactly what you need. It is, of course, in French, but used with the Chrome browser's translation feature, it is very usable and quite well written.

As I mentioned, the screen is easy to get replacements; here's an example from Amazon that came up on a cursory search. eBay and AliExpress would be a couple of other sites where you're likely to find parts, but a general internet search will almost certainly turn up others as well.
The instructions and the example are for screens that come already attached to the midframe; it is also possible to replace the screen alone without the midframe, but that requires a different set of instructions and a different part, so be sure to verify whether the screen you decide to purchase comes as a screen + frame assembly, or just the screen alone.
