Brand new C3 OLED, keep turning on after 2-5 minutes

My aunt tv not mine, brand new C3 keep turning on

  • Timer off
  • CEC off
  • Firmware updated
  • No devices plugged in
  • Exchange for a new one, same model and yes, got exactly the same proble, the tv keep turning on after a few minutes...
  • Really despertate at his time

Just to give you an update on my aunt’s tv problem. I went to her place to troubleshoot in situ I manage to find the problem, if you even slightly over tight the stand base plate screws the power button under the tv get stuck and make your tv to power on by itself after powering off

Have you tried connecting it to a different power outlet or perhaps directly to a power outlet if it is connected to a power strip?

Are there any electrical appliances e.g. refrigerator, air con unit, stereo equipment, WiFi or radio equipment nearby? Just asking as the TV remote uses radio frequencies (and also Bluetooth) and not IR (infra red) to control the TV and perhaps there's something nearby that is triggering the TV to turn on.

Are you using the same remote control from the 1st TV for the 2nd TV or a new one that came with the 2nd TV?

If the same one, remove the batteries and check if it still occurs.

Just some thoughts.

Im going to my aunt saturday to try to troubleshoot myself. Shes using the remote that come with the new tv.

I'll check if the ac cause probleme.
