Why are my coils freezing up

Sounds like there may be a defrost problem. This could be caused by a faulty defrost heater, faulty defrost thermostat, block drain leading from below the evaporator unit in the freezer to the evaporator pan under the compartments or a faulty defrost timer or control board.

Go to p.26 to view the procedure for how to run the diagnostic tests to see if any error codes are being displayed.

If you do find the problem and it's a faulty part that needs replacing, here's the parts list that is useful.

When you have located the wanted part in the list you'll see that the manufacturer's¹ part number for the part is listed with it.

Search online for the part number only to find suppliers that suit you best.

¹ Your refrigerator is a Daewoo refrigerator made for Kenmore, hence the parts have Daewoo part numbers, just so you're aware of this when searching for parts.
