I just replaced the screen of my pixel 4a, and I'm wondering if anyone knows what to do with the old one.
It was only the glass that was cracked, and the display and touch sensor underneath still works fine. So, I imagine someone with the right tools (and more free time than me) could fix it, but I'm not sure if such a person/organization exist or where to find them.

Or if you feel ambitious you could try the home DIY kit put out by a company called Expert Cell DIY. They make a whole kit for the express purpose of replacing the front glass that includes everything you need; tools, instructions, glass and adhesives. Here's the one you'd need.

I got one of these for a Samsung screen that I wanted to attempt, but alas ended up damaging the OLED in the process of trying to separate the old glass so it didn't work for me, but you might have better luck. I'm not sure how much the Pixel 4a screens are going for these days, but at $28 USD the kit might be worth a try; if it works you'd have a spare screen cheap.

Thanks! I was concerned about buying one of theses kits from Amazon, since it wasn't clear is it would have everything I needed, but this looks like great option.
Hopefully I'll have repaired my old screen by the time that this one inevitably breaks😅

You could try taking it to a local repair place, and offer it as a, 'I don't need this anymore, if you can find a use for it, that would be great.'
