Volume and 3D Sliders Unresponsive?

After reassembling my N3DSXL My sliders no longer respond. They're both stuck at the max setting. I've opened them up and checked to make sure the potentiometers are still in place and they are, I checked the ribbon cable and it's in place and undamaged. The only POI I can think of is the left speaker which is not functioning because I accidentally tore the power wire from the solder, but it's just the one speaker. The other speaker functions perfectly and the 3D feature works fine and is permanently on. Anyone experience anything similar or anyone have an idea as to what could possibly be the problem? I've tried reseating the ribbon cable multiple times.
