Display Issue After Replacement: Only Backlight Visible
Hello everyone,
I recently replaced the display on my iPad Air 4 and encountered an issue where only the backlight of the screen is visible. Despite the touch functionality seeming to work fine (I can hear the device respond to touch inputs), there are no icons, colors, or any visual output on the display itself, just the glowing backlight.
Here's a rundown of the situation:
- I have used 2 replacement screens from iFixit for this repair, the same issue occurred with both screens.
- I ensured that all connectors were properly seated during each display assembly attempt.
- I checked for any visible damage to the connectors or the ribbon cables.
- I attempted a hard reset to rule out a software-related issue.
Despite these efforts, the screen continues to show only the backlight without any actual display content.
Has anyone here experienced something similar or have any suggestions on what might be causing this and how to fix it or if there's a specific aspect I should be paying attention to?
Thank you in advance for your insights and advice!
