Did you just "reflow" the sb or did you remove it and re-ball it? I'd remove and re-ball. That way you can check the pads on the board and chip for oxidation, and coat any exposed traces on the board.

I had a dual sense recently where someone blew the power ic but instead of replacing it they misdiagnosed the sie as the culprit and "reflowed" that. But when they did they caused traces to become exposed under the chip, which caused a number of balls to merge just out of sight. Sometimes one gets lucky and "reflow" does the trick, but sometimes not so much.

Roach infested, yum. Modern electronics are so fragile. If any cap, filter, resistor etc goes even 10-20 points out spec the entire device can be rendered nonfunctional. Roaches man....blech, good luck!
