Hi @omkumawat

I can't find any information regarding the TV. Please confirm the model number of the TV?

You would have to know the cable connector pinout for the wiring between the mainboard and the screen because if the screens are not identical in this regard or if they require different control voltages to operate then it won't work.

You would need to find the datasheet for both screens to know if they're identical or not and what signal voltage values are required to make them work.

can you give me a link where this information is given and how to compare data sheet I will be thankfully to you

As I said I cannot find any information regarding the TV model number that you posted. Are you sure that it is the model number for the TV?

To find the information you need you need to know the make and model number of the LCD panel for both devices.

This is usually found on the back of the LCD panel itself, so no doubt you will have to dis-assemble both the monitor and the TV to find it.

Also most likely the LCD panel might not be made by the manufacturer of the monitor or the TV as LCD panels are made by specialist panel makers to order and not by the end product manufacturer where they're used in.

Once you have the LCD panel information, search online for "(insert panel make and model number) datasheet" to hopefully find them, as this information is not always available online.

Without it it will be difficult to impossible to do what you want to do.

@omkumawat

It probably won't work.

The components in the TV LCD panel were selected to work with a 5V input.

If you only supply 3.3V then there possibly won't be enough current flowing through the components to make the circuit operate correctly.

Basic Ohms Law. I (current) = V (voltage) ÷ R (resistance)

Lowering the voltage supply will lower the current.

You could always try as having a lower voltage supply shouldn't damage anything unless you accidentally reverse the polarity of the input voltage supply, but don't be surprised if it doesn't work or if it does that it doesn't work properly.

There's not much you can do about this. It's in the design of the original circuit for each panel.

monitor display model no is N156B6 - L0B AND TV DISPLAY MODEL IS M215HGE - P02

@omkumawat

You would need to replace the video driver board in the monitor as well. Looking at the datasheets the operating characteristics are all different.

Sorry I can't help you anymore because it won't work.

You would be better off connecting the computer to the TV using HDMI (if the TV has this connection)

Sorry my tv is Philips and it is not tirning on it is blinking a red light continuosly

@omkumawat

What is the model number of the TV?

If you want the system to work you will have to fix either the monitor or the TV as you can't interchange parts between the monitor and the TV as they're not compatible.

Is there a pattern to the red light blinking on the TV e.g. 5 blinks - pause - 5 blinks - pause etc or is the blinking really continuous without a small pause between the blinks at all?
