1 Damaged digitizer and front glass
I think most owners of this model are aware of the hinge issues!!! Has anyone tried to replace just the digitizer and front glass? These screens are stupidly expensive!!
I've managed to repair the smashed hinge retaining plate and the dents in the top cover. Just hoping someone has carried out the digitizer replacement
I am having the same issue but with the Dell Inspiron 7430 2-in-1 model

Your best bet is looking for the part number of what you want to replace. That said for years Dell have made standard things non standard. Ever since desktop P.C’s . When everyone was doing ATX and ITX Dell was coming up with their own thing . I have had and still do have a custom ‘sleeper’ P.C inside an old dell case, just to stick two fingers up at their design team 🤭

It is neither the design teams' nor programmer' fault - it is mainly marketing/management that makes all these weird decisions.
